Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Dianoetic: the website at dianoetic.tech, Dianoetic AI, Dianoetic Code and the Dianoetic API. By using Dianoetic, you agree to them.

1. Who can use Dianoetic

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. If you use Dianoetic for an organisation, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.

2. Your account

Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else has access to it, change your password or contact us. One person per account, please.

3. Acceptable use

Don't use Dianoetic to:

• break the law, or help anyone else break it;
• harass, threaten, deceive or harm people, or create content that sexualises minors;
• create malware, or attack, probe or disrupt Dianoetic or anyone else's systems;
• get around rate limits or security measures, or access Dianoetic by automated means other than the official API;
• pass off AI-generated content as human-written where that would mislead people in a harmful way;
• violate the usage policies of the model providers that power Dianoetic.

We may limit, suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

4. Community

The Dianoetic community is a public space. Anyone can read it, and anyone with an account can post. When you post:

• be respectful, and disagree with ideas rather than people;
• no harassment, hate, threats, sexual content, or sharing other people's private information;
• no spam, scams or unsolicited advertising;
• don't post passwords, API keys or anything else you'd regret being public.

Moderators may remove messages and suspend accounts that break these rules. Our Discord server follows the same guidelines, as well as Discord's own terms.

5. AI output

Dianoetic generates text and code using AI models. Output can be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date or inappropriate, even when it sounds confident. You're responsible for how you use it. Review generated code before running it, and get qualified advice for medical, legal, financial and safety matters.

Different people may get similar output, so you can't claim exclusive rights over output that others independently receive.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of what you put into Dianoetic. As far as the law allows, you also own what Dianoetic produces for you. You give us permission to process your content to run the service. If your training setting is on, you also give us permission to use your saved conversations to improve our models, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can turn training off at any time.

Only submit content you have the right to use.

7. The service

Dianoetic relies on third-party model providers, and which one answers a request may change. We may add, change or remove features, models and limits, and the service may occasionally be down. You can check live status at any time.

8. Disclaimers

Dianoetic is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability, to the fullest extent the law allows.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Dianoetic won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or revenue, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

10. Ending things

You can stop using Dianoetic and delete your account at any time from the account menu. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or if we have to stop offering the service.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll update the date above and let you know in the app. Continuing to use Dianoetic after that means you accept the new terms.
